Public Liability

This policy will protect your Business for claims made against you, which arise as a result of unexpected and unintended damage to property (or personal injury) caused by your business for which you may become legally liable.

The policy will provide the following benefits:

• Public Liability – up to a policy limit that suits you
• Damage to underground services
• Goods on Hook coverage
• Landlords Liability
• Tenants Liability
• Mechanical Plant Liability
• Property under your care, custody or control
• Forest & Rural Fires Act
• Punitive and Exemplary damages for claims for bodily injury to employees and public
• Service & Repair work
• Bailees and Removal of Support
• Statutory Liability claims such as breaches of Health & Safety in Employment Act and Resource Management Act to name a few
• Employers Liability covering personal injury claims that could arise that fall outside the scope of ACC
  

The premium levels will depend on the business activity, claims history, employee numbers and the estimated turnover.

Ideally, this policy should be insured with the same insurance company of your Mobile Plant to ensure there is no gaps between one policy/insurance company and the other.

All clients will have the ability to select the policy limits and policy excess options, which best suits, their particular situation.
