Add to this the 270 hp diesel-ethanol engine, operating on ethanol according to the efficient diesel combustion principle, and you’ll see just how powerful energy efficiency can be. This engine takes sustainability to a new level, offering EEV compliance plus carbon dioxide reductions of up to 90 per cent.
Across the range, cleaner combustion is achieved through a combination of Scania EGR, advanced fuel injection and an advanced turbocharging process.
