The Hitachi ZAXIS-3 series new-generation hydraulic excavators are packed with a host of technological features – clean engine, Hitachi advanced hydraulic technologies, with strong undercarriage and front attachment, plus precision matching of power and speed. The ZX650LC-3 & ZX670LCH-3 can get the job done with proven productivity, durability, and reliability, especially in heavy-duty excavation and quarry operations.

In developing the ZX650LC-3 & ZX670LCH-3, the goal for Hitachi was simple; to yield high production yet maintain low fuel consumption.  Utilising new developments in engine and hydraulic systems technology, Hitachi has managed to achieve an significant 8% increase (vs. Conventional model) in production as well as 6 % more bucket digging force and up to 15% % more arm digging speed (At power boost mode, vs. conventional model) while achieving a 10 % Increase in output (vs. Conventional model).

Boosted Productivity
The new hydraulic system, HIOS III*, and new 6-cylinder diesel engine powering the ZX500LC-3 and ZX520LCH-3 were developed specifically for Hitachi’s ZAXIS-3 line up of excavators. These advanced technologies are at work to yield bigger output with higher fuel efficiency.

A New Standard in Operator Comfort
The operator's seat of the ZAXIS-3 series gives the operator an excellent view of the jobsite. On the widescreen colour LCD monitor the operator can see what is behind the machine through the rear-mounted camera, as well as machine performance, vital statistics and fault diagnostics. Ample leg room, short stroke levers and a large comfortable seat ensure optimum working conditions for the operator during long hours. The ZAXIS-3 range of Hitachi excavators also include a theft deterrent security system.

A Solid Base for a Long Life
Hitachi’s technology is built on a wealth of experience and know-how from limestone sites and quarries around the world. The undercarriage of the ZX650LC-3 & ZX670LCH-3 has become much stronger. Improved construction and enlarged box sections, a track undercover plate that protects the centre joint and hydraulic hoses make this machine more durable.
