Short Arse The rear-end swing radius of the ZAXIS135US-3 is 650 mm smaller than the ZAXIS120-1 and 270 mm smaller than the ZX70-3. In addition, the minimum front swing radius is 290 mm shorter than the ZAXIS120-3. These smaller dimensions mean more efficiency in tight job sites without compromising on comfort or power. The ZX135US-3 boasts increased travel speed over its predecessor and is also much more frugal on fuel as well with a 3% increase in productivity. These savings don't compromise on comfort or safety though - as with all Hitachi excavators, the operators station is ergonomically designed to ensure maximum comfort and productivity as well as maximum safety with Hitachi's patented CRES cab design. It may be a short-arse, but the Hitachi ZX135US is not scared of anything, also available in short radius demolition specification (ZX135USK).
