Hitachi Recent Deliveries
Hitachi construction machinery has been helping shape New Zealand since the first excavator, a UH03, was delivered in 1964. Today Hitachi remains New Zealand's most popular excavator, with an extensive product range continuing to grow in dominance and popularity in New Zealand, and around the world.
Below are some of the more recent deliveries of Hitachi machinery to customers throughout New Zealand, who continue the strong legacy of productively, efficiently and reliably shaping our infrastructure.
Grant Farms Contracting - Hitachi ZX200-5
Tom Grant of Grant Farms Contracting, Whakatane, has taken delivery of the first ZX200-5 in the Bay of Plenty. According to Luke Grant, who has put the first few hours on it, the new model is showing a number of improvements. Luke likes the improved cab layout, in particular the new fully-integrated monitor showing the rear view at all times, as well as the gauges. Hydraulically, the -5 is also showing improvements with increased speed, but it is still smooth to operate.
