Electric Drive System
Hitachi EH4500 uses an AC motor drive system to operate itself (the engine is mainly used to work the generator). The AC motor drive system has the following advantages compared to mechanical drive systems, because it has fewer components:

  • Carries more materials
  • Has reduced maintenance costs
  • Has increased availability
  • Has increased driving & retarding performance
Suspension with Trailing Arm
This system absorbs impact and eliminates side-to-side movement and scuffing of tyres. Through use of these features, this suspension allows for stable steering, increased fuel efficiency, and improved cycle time.
