The John Deere 970D Eco III harvester is the machine of choice when you need a powerful harvester for late thinnings. The generous ground clearance, large wheels and small turning circle make the machine agile even in dense woods.

demanding of conditions.

The ergonomic controls, the lateral cab levelling function, the good visibility in all directions and the ease with which the parallel boom can be controlled increase efficiency and make thinning an enjoyable job.

The Eco III harvesters come with a hardwearing and powerful Tier III compatible John Deere PowerTech Plus™ engine and a novel software feature for optimising the engine’s RPMs. Thanks to the new Eco mode, the machine can be operated at the same speeds as before but with even lower RPMs and therefore lower fuel consumption.
