Swedish company Scania is the fourth largest heavy truck manufacturer in the global market, and the third largest in Europe. Scania buses are the third largest-selling make in the world. This means Scania are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks and buses for heavy transport work.

The relationship between CablePrice and Scania was originally formed in July 1991 when CablePrice was appointed sole New Zealand distributor for Scania trucks and buses.

Since then Scania has become a formidable brand in New Zealand trucking. Specialising in heavy trucks (gross weight of more than 16 tonnes) and designed for long distance, distribution and construction haulage the Scania product has a reputation of comfort, efficiency and reliability.

The CablePrice Scania team has launched many industry leading innovations to after sales service and support. The introduction of our Scania Service Exchange program has led to more maintenance repair contracts for CablePrice Scania than any other manufacturer. CablePrice now leads the world in service exchange sales for Scania. The “ScanPlan” service programme introduced by CablePrice is another leading initiative to help our customers enjoy hassle free service and maximise the full benefits of owning a Scania truck or bus.
