Day Cabs

You don’t need somewhere to sleep for the night – but you do want a spacious, well-equipped place to work and enough room to relax, spread out and take a break.

As many drivers engaged in multidrop or construction duties will testify, life can sometimes be very frustrating. A typical day is likely to be a mix of driving, working outside the cab on deliveries and pickups, and taking a break – either a mandatory stop, or enforced while waiting to make a drop or queuing in line before backing up to the loading bay. Such a pattern will be repeated time and again.

Fortunately, these new day cabs are designed to provide the right environment for both efficient working and restful relaxation. Of course, the schedules will remain just as demanding – but driving will be more rewarding, work breaks should offer more respite, and interruptions and disruptions will induce less stress.

Of the two versions available, the R day cab is the larger. It is taller and can be specified in combination with any engine. The alternative P day cab has less headroom and can be supplied in with any 9-, 11-litre engine, or the 420 Euro 3 12-litre engine.
