The new low ground pressure (LGP) 20-ton BELLB20E ADT is a true 6×6 with a driven rear axle. It is powered by 170kW final Tier 4 emission compliant engine, running through an Allison 3000 series transmission. This model offers customers the benefit of high stability with very low ground pressure, along with operator safety and comfort.

Owner Rikky Dawson, recently took delivery of a new Hitachi ZX225USLC-7, featuring the new TRIAS III hydraulic system, larger cab with enhanced operator comfort and integrated console. Ricky has also optioned it with a Doherty tilt hitch and wide bucket package. Rikky and the team will waste no time in putting the new Hitachi ZX225USLC-7 machine through its paces, digging trenches, and moving dirt.

This week 8 technicians took part in a training course on the new Hitachi ZX210LC-7. The course took place in Wellington at CablePrice’s National Training Centre and covered all aspects of the machine, ensuring that our customers are well supported by the great team of technicians throughout NZ.

As impressive as this may sound, it was far from a simple task for Troy with fierce competition coming from second place Michael Brown of Fulton Hogan Waikato and third place Steven George of Northlands’s Steven George Contracting.
