Apprenticeships

CablePrice market-leading apprenticeships run in conjunction with accredited industry trainer MITO. The program provides apprentices with hands-on experience and training to become qualified in the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering - Road Transport (Level 4) or the New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering - Plant and Equipment (Level 4). The practical apprentice programs are ideal for interested school students or mature age students and are available at major CablePrice branches across New Zealand.

Apprenticeships

 

A positive attitude with ambition, determination and a willingness to learn

Written skills of a good standard and an understanding of basic mathematics

Energy and the focus to study as required to gain MITO credits

Experience with the industry, through work experience, pre-trade courses or other avenues would be of benefit

Drivers Licence. You must have held at least a restricted licence for a minimum of six months

As a Heavy Equipment or Commercial Vehicle Apprentice, you will be involved and engaged in all the mechanical and technical elements across CablePrice’s wide range of products and servicing. We will equip you with the skills and knowledge to efficiently and effectively diagnose, service and repair a wide range of products within your chosen area of expertise.
Our promise of delivering reliable solutions puts safety at the forefront of everything we do. In this Apprenticeship, you’ll see first-hand how our
commitment to safety is prioritised and embedded from initial commissioning, into regular servicing and maintenance, through to overhaul and the end of the service life.
