LANDCROS: Solutions Beyond Machinery

LANDCROS

January 2026

We are excited to announce a significant milestone in Hitachi’s journey. For over 75 years, Hitachi have proudly served the construction and mining sectors, delivering reliable machinery, engineering excellence, and building lasting partnerships.

The construction and mining industries are entering a new era. The world demands faster, smarter, and more sustainable approaches to developing critical infrastructure and mining operations at an unprecedented scale, with fewer skilled operators, lower costs, and tighter deadlines. In this context, Hitachi Construction Machinery has chosen to reinvent itself, standing side by side with its customers and distribution partners to lead this transformation together.

As part of the ongoing evolution, Hitachi Construction Machinery will transition to a new company name – LANDCROS Corporation, effective April 2027.

Building lasting partnerships

LANDCROS Corporation

This global rebrand signals the next phase of the company’s growth and commitment to customers. While the name will change, operations and dedication remain steadfast.

LANDCROS will continue as a Japanese company, with the heart of R&D and manufacturing based in Japan. They will retain all existing capabilities and are set to strengthen them further by accelerating innovation, developing new technologies, and expanding collaboration with key partners worldwide.

LANDCROS embodies their commitment to go beyond machinery, empowering customers with intelligent, connected, and reliable solutions. Dedication to customers is unwavering.

The people, products, support networks, and supply chains you have come to trust will remain unchanged. You can continue to rely on your existing support team, branch network, account contacts, and product and parts supply – all of which will operate as usual.

Dual branding will be phased out over a 12-month period following April 2027.
Orders placed after that date will be delivered as LANDCROS machines, with all products fully transitioned by April 2028.

We’ll provide additional information and updated materials closer to the changeover to make the process seamless for your business.

The name change marks the next chapter, but focus remains where it’s always been – with you, the customer.
